Science and Technology Week

We can hardly believe it’s already been a year since the last one, but here we are again, it’s Oakthorpe’s SCIENCE WEEK!

(Tuesday 5th – Friday 8th June 2018).

This year we are all becoming palaeontologists, travelling back in time and working hard to uncover the secrets of the dinosaurs and creating exhibits for the Oakthorpe Museum of Natural History.

As always, we aim to give all children a fun and interactive experience, and therefore the week will be packed with lots of opportunities for some in-depth learning.

All children will have a visitor and will have the opportunity to share their work in our very own Museum of Natural History on the final day of the week.

There will be opportunities to research, create, invent, predict, design, evaluate and share their work with the whole school. It will be a VERY busy week.

Our Museum (Friday 8th June in the big hall) will be open to parents between 3.00pm and 3.45pm and we look forward to seeing you there.

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £3.00 to go towards the cost of visitors and resources payable through ParentPay.

We thank you for your continued support and hope that you are able to help us by contributing to the week, since without your support these wonderful weeks would simply not be possible.

Yours sincerely
