ADMINISTRATIVE/WELFARE ASSISTANT
We have a vacancy for an Administrative/Welfare Assistant to join our busy but friendly school. Your main duties will include responsibility for a wide range of administrative tasks, and to manage directly the welfare and well-being of sick or injured children.
Candidates should have a good approach with children, be able to work in a busy environment, have, or be willing to undertake a first aid qualification, and have proven skills and abilities of working in an administrative role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- the day to day tasks of the welfare department in the school (a current First Aid certificate is desirable (again training can be arranged for a suitable candidate));
- organising the Staff room and preparing for functions/meetings;
- Good interpersonal skills as well as good ICT skills are essential (ideally knowledge of E1 would be desirable but training is available).
Hours: 32½ hours per week x 39 weeks per annum (Mon-Fri – 8.30am – 4pm)
Actual Salary Range: £12,053 - £12,354 p.a. inc.
