Breakfast Club

Oakthorpe Breakfast Club operates from 7.45am every morning until the start of the school day at 8.50 am. It is run by our own staff.

It supports working parents by allowing them to bring children into school early and helps ensure that children have something to eat at the beginning of the day. We have also found that it helps children to be on time for school.

We believe that it is important for children to have breakfast in the morning as it helps with learning. Children cannot learn if they are hungry.

Our Breakfast Club not only offers breakfast, but also opportunities for children to socialise, look at books, play board games and take part in sporting activities.

The cost is £3 per session per child for children who arrive before 8:00am. For arrivals after 8am the cost is £2.50

For the days you would like your child to attend breakfast club please pay online through Parent Pay via www.parentpay.com. We do ask that your account is kept in credit at all times as we are unable to offer spaces to children where payments have not been made in advance.

The menu consists of;

1. Variety of cereal
2. Toast or bagel with jam
3. Milk
4. Fruit juice or squash
