Assistant Site Manager

Required: As Soon as Possible

Hours: 15hrs per week x 52 weeks per annum  (3:15pm – 6:15pm daily Monday to Friday with occasional overtime for events/meetings)

Actual Salary Range:  £11,606 - £12,326 p.a. inc. (Scale 4)

Contract: Established, part time, 52 weeks

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team to help us ensure that our school provides a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors.  

The children, staff and governors of Oakthorpe Primary School are looking for a practical and well-motivated person for the post of Assistant Site Manager.  

The ability to work extended hours to cover for holiday or absence cover of our site manager is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for someone who will really care for our school, ensuring it looks its best and is safe.  

The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with the fabric of the building, health and safety, grounds and facilities maintenance and security.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• is a hands on individual, with a can do attitude who can develop and implement  systems/procedures as well as maintain current ones

• is sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding the school and grounds

• is able to implement risk assessments and any recommendations

• can contribute to projects and maintenance schedules

• is practical, with good DIY skills.
